At the third annual Victoria Awards dinner, Ms. Sen was recognized for her commitment to ethical journalism documenting the complexities and controversies in communities of color across the nation.
“At ARC and ColorLines magazine we work hard to report on people of color with compassion and depth. It is my great privilege to accept this important award honoring that commitment and other contributions of women in media,” offered Ms. Sen in her remarks last night. “In the current media environment, the work of the Woodhull Institute is critically needed to reshape our commitment to ethical leadership led by women in the media.”
