The Applied Research Center works from offices in New York, Oakland and Chicago.

New York serves as the organization’s Executive Office and houses the Public Affairs and Journalism programs. Oakland is ARC’s administrative center, and the home of our Public Policy, Research and Journalism programs, as well as the ColorLines editorial staff. The  Leadership Advocacy program is based in our Midwest office located in Chicago, IL.
