Phoenix Soleil
arc-2.org.jpegPhoenix Soleil, Technology Strategist at the Applied Research Center,
graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a degree in Cultural
Anthropology. She has over twelve years of experience of helping
nonprofits such as American Museum of Natural History, Manhattan
Neighborhood Network, Deep Dish TV and StoryCorps use technology to
reach their goals. Her computer consultancy business Dancing Trees:
Nurturing Tech Support has been written up in the NY Metro, Daily
Candy and other media outlets because of her unusual ability to make
technology pleasurable to the technophobic.

Building a more compassionate society is one of the reoccurring themes
in her creative work and social activism. She is a published writer
and skilled performer. In her facilitation work with adults and
children, she uses empathy, dramatic improv, and somatic movement to
bring about greater self-awareness, empowerment and authentic
connection with others.
