Aimee Walker, Development Manager, has been a fundraiser since 2001. She has worked to grow and diversify income for a variety of non-profits, including social service, arts, and social justice organizations. Most recently, she served as Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations for Free Arts NYC, a youth arts organization. Aimee also volunteers her time with a variety of social justice organization and poetry presses. She is currently the Vice President of the Board of Directors for InTheFray, a progressive online magazine. Aimee holds a BA in English Literature from Smith College and an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University. Her poems and reviews have appeared in national magazines and journals, and she has received poetry scholarships and grants from the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and the Astraea Lesbian writers fund. |
