Critical Issues Forum Volume III Released

cif3volume.jpgRinku Sen, ARC Executive Director, publishes article on using transformational goals to measure racial equity work in the third volume of the Critical Issues Forum series.

Last August, the Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity (PRE) embarked on a year-long project to spark discussion that could build on best practices within evaluation and how those should be applied to efforts aimed at reducing structural racism. The effort began with discussion and debate with some key advocates, activists and evaluators working on these issues at national and local levels, and was followed by similar discussions of funders.

The third volume of the Critical Issues Forum series has just been released, and features the work of several thought leaders like john powell of the Kirwan Institute, Maya Wiley of the Center for Social Inclusion, Kalpana Krishnamurthy of Western States Center, and others. In CIF3, authors tackle the problems and prospects of evaluating racial justice work and assessing impact in the field.
