This report includes data from 12 U.S. cities, detailing widespread racial inequality across several key indicators such as drop-out and disciplinary rates, and graduation and college entrance rates. The report was the culmination of a national participatory research collaborative that involved twenty community-based organizations. Findings were widely covered in the media, including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and front-page coverage in U.S.A Today.
